Welcome back guys!

More than one year has gone by... I have changed a lot. As the turning point of life has come, I think of nothing I could do more to be heard but to come back here so that I can be heard.

Right now I am a senior at my language college. I am no more a top scorer, nor an outstanding one. However, that's life. Time moves and things change; people also change.

I wonder why sometimes when I thought of no one to share or talk to, I always have my blog here to share my hidden feelings. How about you? Who or where do you turn to when you find yourself in the middle of nowhere facing such a bad time?

Look nice??? hehe... I love these, but there are not so many choices here in Cambodia. The majority of tulips available here are imported from our neighboring countries--Thailand and Vietnam. The price is a bit high too. ^,^
Tulips I bought this V-day are yellow, only $15.00 for 5 tulips. :D

I am browsing for how to keep tulips, and I can see many cute ones! Gorgeous decoration with high price (some choices are up to more than 100 pounds--Fair flowers)

Anyway, do u guys celebrate Valentine's day? Experience traffic congestion which driving? All the streets nearby the Hot Spot are so jam!

Economist Conference: Biz Roundtable with The Cambodian Gov't

According to the economic news from The Economist, there will be economist conference in Cambodia this February 16th at Angkor Palace resort and spa Hotel. It is a good chance if lots of people can join. Our Prime Minister Hun Sen will join the conference too.

Funny thing at first is that when I read through the page about this information, I was interested in that and wanna participate in that upcoming event too. Incredibly, when I go through the fee, it is 900$ for early birds who booked before January 9th, 1250$ as standard fee and 1000$ for corporate members! How can a college sophomore like me can join??? T,T

Guess what! At last, on 2009 New Year's eve, I was going around and came across with this, "The Tales of Beedle The Bard" by J.K. Rowling. Just while I saw it, I grab it at once! Since I've finished Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, I felt that I have no more to read as there is no book can hook me up. ^ , ^

At last, I can spare my time with this hery! Bed time story for wizarding kids. :D But muggle like me likes it alot! :D

At last! Cambodia now has Wing--Electronic Wallet that is launched by ANZ Banking Group that enable mobile payment service.

It is amazing, to me, that this is the First Electronic Wallet service provider in South-East Asia, and ANZ Banking group aimed to spread it to other countries in South-East Asia, too, even though mobile payment services have been used for years in Western areas and other countries in Asia such as Japan.

On the 1st day of Chinese New Year, my family and I went to Wat Phnom and the public park around there to let my lil cousins play in the children's yard. There are lots and lots of people, especially those who look Chinese! hehe....

P.S. Wat Phnom resort is considered the sacred place for its history. People believe in the spiritual power of Daun Penh (the woman who first found the name for Phnom Penh).

August 15 is water tidal day which is de traditional ceremony to any half-blood chinese. I went to study at college this mornin. Half of de class were absent. Maybe those who were absent have little bit chinese blood or have chinese ascendants. :-) me too! Comin back home from school, everything is already prepared. :) there r many dishes of food as usual. ;-) no grilled pig to pray 2 years already, last year n this year. There's only grilled duck again for 2008. However, as grilled pig is so so expensive in these day, there is still a piece of its body too. ;)

(T-T) I couldn't add pix at all as i'm now using my mobile. Here i just wanna share u de new Pinky Nokia 7310 Supernova! There r 2 authentic express covers along when u buy it. So cute! 1 is pink n another 1 is blue. I must have used de Pinky 1, right? :-) it's Symbian 40, 5th edition with wide screen compare to de 3rd edition S40.

To conclude, that Supernova is so cute with de pinky cover. I love it a lot! Feel so good with favorite color, but truly, it is really cute indeed!

Lonely Day

Sitting alone (in fact I am not) without my 3 best partners, I feel like I don’t belong to this class. I have no concentration to the lecturer at all. I wish this temporary lonesome fade away soon. I just don’t understand now that the feeling of being alone without the close ones accompany or talk to is a real desperation.

My used-to-be-talkative me now turn to a gentle speechless one. I just understand that it’s hard to find someone who have the same favorite topic and characteristics to talk to and it’s even harder to ignore the lonely feeling when I exist without them aside.

Now I am really and eagerly wishing that I were at somewhere quiet with a pinky laptop accessing to the cyber world. If it were true, at least, I have internet accompany me till the time I found someone to talk to again.

What a really bad luck today is that. I’ve left my other phone with credit charging at home, and I have only a dull phone with an empty account with me here. I can’t contact my perfect partners. Where on earth they are up to and why haven’t they here with me?

What such a cute pinky note book!!! I used to day dream of pinky laptop available after seeing it in a movie starred by Hilary Duff. After I've seen a scene of her lovely pinky laptop, i thought it would be great if there could be any laptop available in pink. And now there is!

Its shape fit with girls! So cool! Do you love it? I bet "yes" if you are female, but i guess some guys may wanna own one too eh??? ( ^ , ^)

Just finish all exam at both schools, now breaking free to visit my own blog and too enjoy my time with cybersphere. haha... Have u missed my posts? haha... Now don't have much time at all lah. No more nice post as before.

I am eagerly waiting for my new term to start at IFL as I miss my good friends there so much. I miss my english class and activities. i miss Meatball with fried noodle... Haha... i often eat dat during the break time.

By the way, my new term will start next week on Monday 24. I'll be busy again. Love ter be busy better then just staying at home with lots n lots of chores.. hahaha..

I've been being busy (lazy???) to spare my time to give mt blog a new interesting post. Here I just wanna drop by cuz it seems like months I have left my blog dead.... :D

Well, nufin new about me, I am still DeeDee :) hehe... Still a funny, talkative one in class. Oh, btw, classes at college is just okay. I have been known to be a naughty, strict class monitor at my accounting school. My lecturers and staffs in the office has valued my class to be the best one in the 4th generation for having me as a good leader. Hehe.... ( ^ , ^ )

'Bout IFL, I am being known to be a talkative one in class. My poorest subject at IFL is Khmer and Regional History. Everyone says it is dam hard! U see? they use such word, so it means that it is really hard... I hate memorizing. I don't wanna memorize at all. :) Now my semester exam is coming up next week, from Monday to Friday. I am really scare that I won't be able to do well in Khmer and regional history and sociology in Khmer. Oh one more thing is Khmer Grammar! I never pay much attention during this session cuz it seems boring. However, surprisingly, I am always the top scorer in every Khmer grammar test. :) Not only that, almost in every subject, I've never tried hard, but my mark is never low, always in the top 5. Lucky me!
Seems like that's all for now. Gotta end here cuz it has been valued an uninteresting one. ( - , - )

YaHuuu…….! Welcome back after a long absent from the blogosphere with all of you, especially my precious visitors… I have been being very very busy with mid-terms and quizzes at both universities. Now I can be here to update my blog because I have to share the environment lesson—in slides show cuz the lecturer shared only to me and let me share the rest of the class. Otherwise, I would not have a chance to online te! ha ha ha!!!

Btw, Happy New Year ( ^ , ^ ) to all of you. Let me wish you a prosperous New Year and succeed in your New Year resolution! Cheers! I have 3 more assignment which due soon (next week)! and I haven’t typed yet! (cuz I am the one who cover technical task) :D

Being the class monitor, I am getting more and more well-known, cuz I am admired by the lecturer for being well-perform with the duties of being the leader in class. Oh forget to tell you, my class is known as the best class among the 4th generation (foundation year classes) at EFI. (They say that because they have me as the class leader) ;D hhheheeh.. seems like I’ve fulfill my duties well hery merl tov!

However, at IFL, I am also famous to students at the other classes as well cuz my friends have spread my fame to their friends in other classes of my friendliness, well performed, good at speaking(maybe talkative???), and everything positive! Oh also Barbie too! we are both the perfect partners at IFL! Everyone envies us so much! :D

Ok, seems like it’s gotta end here cuz I don’t think I have more stuffs to share and to praise myself! hahah…. However, it’s true! I am so happy recently, I gain weight(so I look much chubby and cuter now! ( ^ , ^ ) ) and I get a bit taller too!

Khmer traditional Dancing Show at CJCC

There is a show on Khmer traditional Dancing and a famous ancient story – Ko Samot Teuk Dors, which perform by all Khmer students who are studying their bachelor degrees in Japanese at Japanese Department at IFL, RUPP. This show is created in the meaning of building a better friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Japan as well as to share each other’s cultures. There are many Japanese and Cambodian audiences went to see that show.

The performance was so nice which make my eyes fixed on the stage every second. They have been training just only 6 months, yet their performance go so smooth and cool! The story was being narrated in Japanese, so the Khmer audiences need to see the scripts on the slide. However, it was amazing that those students (performers) could speak Japanese so well even some of them just begin studying Japanese only for about half a year! Everything was well done, especially the Apasara Dance!

It is worth spending 2hours in Sunday afternoon watching the great show. I am hoping to join another one next time if there is other performance there at CJCC.

My life with dual bachelor degrees at universities

Since my classes have started, I haven’t got much free time to read my favorite books much as well as to take some times to update my blog with valued articles.

Well, talking about life at IFL first. I am (I dare say!?!?!) the friendliest student in class!!! ( ^ , ^ ) I’ve made many new friends easily with my high sense of humor and smiles! J I am also valued to be one of the most active and bravest students during sessions. I can do well in every subject except history. I always fail to remember the chronology (years) and anthroponym (difficult names of kings…), everything always gotten confusingL. I know myself I can’t do well with subject that need memorizing. In contrast, I find myself good at those which need understanding, real concepts and real activities. ;D Anyway, I still think that university life is much happier and joyful than high school life cuz I can express my ideas, knowledge and talents which in high school I had no chance to do so.

My other class is accounting & finance class at EFI. Well,… the lectures are very good. The lecturers are quite experienced cuz he works and teaches the same skill. This is called “Theories go along with real practice.” The school rules are perfect! I like that. The students need to tuck in and where the student identity card while in IFL cannot control this issue like here at all. The management system there is quite great, but the only problem is about the students. Can you guess? What’s wrong with them? They are not any bad, but I just find their knowledge is too small to be in university! I really wonder! They earn very very little knowledge from high school! I really cannot describe. At first, they surprised me amazingly! Just a simple point, they do not know and said that they’ve never heard of that even that point is already learnt since grade 8 in high school! Not many freshmen in my class are qualified with high school knowledge. This makes me worry a lot about the future of Cambodia.

Water Festival 2007

Water Festival

Water festival is one of the national festival and holidays in Cambodia. It is celebrated in the mean to thanks to the Mekong River which provides water for the crop and to welcome new harvest season.

Today, 23rd November, is the first day of Water Festival. There are around 2000 competitors of 144 boats from all over Cambodia. From yesterday till this morning, there are thousands of people in the crowd in front of the Royal Palace along the river bank. More than 4 millions people from provinces also include the Phnom Penh residents are predicted to enjoy this festival. There are 10 different concerts places at the public parks from 10 TV stations to entertain the people so as to make the Water Festival this year the most joyful one.

A huge number of participants will be found in the evening as people like to go to see the fireworks. From my apartment balcony, I could see many people traveling east toward the river side. The sound of vehicles could be heard since dawn. However, the traffic will be closed around the area near the riverside from 3pm onward. During Water Festival every year, I don’t have any plan to go anywhere rather than enjoy seeing peoples and watching boat racing on TV. ( ^ , ^ )

On the second day of Water Festival, the moon is full. Everyone in my family stay up till mid night. We pray to the moon and grandma ORK OM BOK us. There is so much fun. J OM BOK ( kinda oat??!!?), banana and many more different fruits filled up my mouth, and then grandma asks me what I wish for this year. As my mouth is full up, it’s hard to talk. It was funny! Have you ever done this??? Must be “Yes”, right? Hehehe….

On the other hand, there is one important thing to consider. The municipal department is worried about the rubbish problem after the three-day-festival. Every year, like last year, after the festival, the grassy parks which normally full of fresh green grass and cleaned turned to dead and yellow and full of rubbish! Just as what I’ve posted in my blog last year, the high school students including me joint the social activities of protecting the environment clean by going to help the Cintry group (Public Rubbish Gathering Group) pick up all those rubbish. I am not sure how the process is going for this year yet at all as there are around 20 NGOs stalls at the parks cover different topics such as Smoking is harmful, educate about AIDS, etc… to share ( in a way of education) to those people.

From a high school girl to a university student...

From a high school girl to a university student…

After I have passed the high school leaving examination since August, now my life as a high school girl has changed to be a university student instead. Well, I got grade “C” with a total score of 99.469/100 which is nearly “B”. People who got 99.479 were graded “B”… Well, let me tell you my specific grade for all 10 subjects during my exam. I got 2 “D”s in Khmer Literatures and Math, 2 “A”s in Physics and Social Studies, 3 “B”s in Chemistry, Biology and history, and 2 “C”s in Earth Science and English subject.

You know, this year the graded score format is different from the previous year. Last year, they set that 99.5## up was “A”, from 99.5## down to 98.### was “B” and “C” was from 97.### down to 93 or 92, whereas this year there are only the top 2 students are graded with “A”. One top boy got more than 100 and another girl who is my friend, she also got “A” with the total average score is 99.999. From 99.998 down to 99.479 is “B”. See! It is such a short space of “B”. Me, is the top “C”, from 99.469 down to around maybe 92.###. There is still “D” which I am not sure if it is from some kind of 89 down to somewhere. I am not dare to give more unreliable information about the grade score cuz I don’t know for sure as well.

After finishing high school, it is normal now that the students are preparing for university. For me, I have passed the scholarship entrance exam at Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh in Department of English. I’ll take Bachelor of Education in English there. The class will start on 16th October. I also applied to another faculty in Accounting and Finance at Economic and Finance Institute (EFI). I do dual bachelor degrees. Well, I have merely reached the exit of a first step tunnel and will fight through another dark tunnel of university life soon next month. ( ^ , ^ ) Guess what, I am expecting and imagining how I would posses my life as a university girl. Hehehe… Will it be a tough and enjoyable one??? J However, I commit to try my best to do well! I need to grab goodies to my life. I am trying my best in seeking and behaving for the 3 success of life, (Academic, Social, Family) success.

Well, everyone always have one's favorite color! Me, pink is my best-loved one. Pink makes my life funny, loveable, cool and smiley. Thus, I've just come up with an idea of my every pinky stuff collection. There are many pinky things I own. Pinky (teddy, phone-decor, iPod, school bags, book, pens and pencil, highlighter, robe and clothes, purse, clock and watch, shoes, hair clips, toys, towels and handkerchief, cap, elephant doll, princess-printed-blanket, curtain, bells, light-bulbs.....)

Wow.... Yummy roast ducky! Actually, I'd prefer the pig, but this year is the Piggy Year, so better use ducky one!

Water tidal day is a chinese festival which is just the same meaning as Khmer Pchum Ben's day which is coming up soon. I could see most people here celcebrate this day too as we people are now not totally pure-Cambodian-blood. Thus, i could assume that many people are half-blood chinese, even not half, but can be a bit as well! hehe.... Do you celebrate Water Tidal day at home???

It finally has come out here today, I just can't keep myself to wait for this post to be too late.

Today, I am please to announce that we are organizing the first ever Cambodian Bloggers Summit which will be held on 30-31 August 2007, at Pannasastra University of Cambodia, Phnom Penh Cambodia.

However, we are pending the venue due to the negotiation, but you are welcome to make a post about this event and spread it to your friends.

The chaos in the day of BACII examination...

This is around 5:30 A.M in the dawn of the first day of BacII exam (6th Aug, 2007)
There are hundreds of grade 12 students come and go to have their test document photocopied.
This is late in the evening around 8P.M. The students still remian at the photocopy shop down my home...

The school leaving examination had taken place on 6th of August. There was sound of nice motorcycle of the students came and went out from the photocopy shop along street 110 down my house. I could have never imagined that scene! They are all grade 12 students who were to have the high school leaving exam this academic year. I saw that when I was sitting doing some lesson revision for my school leaving exam at the belcony of my house. I am also a grade 12 student too! :) But I didn't go down to copy any document na! Hehe....

Well, now my exam has ended successfully. I have more time to work with my blog as well as to relive it again as I've left it quite along time to prepare for my exam. Now I am back on the blogosphere to regain my popularity. ( ^ , ^ )

However, it's not the end of my educational life period yet! I've just been through the exit of one tunnel of my life. There are still more to go and even more tough that need me to struggle and fight la.... Ok, just walk and face with them all then....

PIT-workshop at Mekong University of Cambodia

Last month, Personal Information Technology workshop was held at Mekong Universtiy of Cambodia. There were around 300 participants joint the workshop. As time passes by, we can see that there are more and more blogger from Khmer people, especially from the students of the universities that we have done the workshop.

Well, one good news! The Cambodian Blogger Summit will take place on 30th-31st this August. Be ready to join! :)

Dengue Fever....

Dengue Fever is striking noticeably…

According to the everyday news and what I have seen currently, “ Dengue Fever ” is now striking the life of human, in Cambodia as well as other developing countries such as Vietnam, not only the little kids but the grown-up people as well. Further, it is even more dangerous if the grown-up people get it.

On Saturday 30, June, there was a meet up with someone from some kind of health institution who came to urge and tell people in my community about the danger of Dengue Fever which cause by a kind of mosquito (Tiger mosquito??? hehe…) and how to protect ourselves from that. In addition, the community agents visited each house, gave the ALBET —a kind of powder substance that usually use by putting into the water (Bath tube …) to prevent water from being the settlement for the mosquito.

On the same day, there were 2 cars, the one, which leaded the way, with a big statue of Giant Black-and-white leg mosquito on the roof of the car. Inside that car, there was a man speak out to the public by loudspeaker about the Dengue Fever, how harmful it is, and the way to prevent it, to awake our consciousness, to make us beware and get ready to fight with it. Another following car, with a big mosquito repellent tube, sprayed out the ALET water spray as it moved forward along the street.

The people in my community seem to be very happy receiving attention and care by these activities.

Know, in fact, recently there were no more place for the Dengue Fever patients to stay in Takeo and Vietnamese hospital. So!? Take good care of yourself and your beloved family members na! Don’t forget to use insect repellent lotion or spray na! Be well and safe!!!

Traffic....

Traffic! Traffic accident! Ambulance! Traffic Police! Hospital! Over speeding! Crashing! Blood! What are these?

Recently, since the end of 2006, I find the traffic in Phnom Penh is becoming messier and messier! Everyday as I listen to the read-out-news from newspaper on radio, I always hear the news about traffic accidents! Whenever I am on the way to school with my 50cc-Super Cup, all my spirits gather up at my eyes, my head, my arms and hand, my leg and feet! My soul is round up with careful concentration. My velocity is 25m/hr constant as shown in the canter! I am really scared of fast speeding, being in de middle of the street, speedup while the traffic lights are yellow or just few seconds left of green. I often see the accidents cause by motorbike Vs motorbike, car Vs motorbike…. Etc. I hear the sound of ambulance; see liters of fresh red blood on the road, the shouting of each vehicle controllers… I am afraid of being on the way… if I have another choice, I’d choose to walk on the side walk! Being a passenger! I always wonder why the others meet such accident. Only if all vehicle controllers learnt and just respect the traffic law, there won’t be a mess in the traffic and traffic jam anymore! There won’t be accident! The passengers’ transportations will be safe! The city’s traffic will be peace!

Everybody knows these! But let me just write out about some possible cause of road accident because of not respecting the traffic laws.

- over speeding (Especially while the street is cramped)
- No full concentration and attention while controlling vehicle (Talking on the phone
- Drunk driver
- Do not having skill in controlling the vehicle, esp. too youngsters
- Win-win thought while driving or riding
- ………………………………………..

Taste the Highlander's wine

The view of Yaek Loam Lake which is a famous lake in Ratanakiri, 800meters diameter and 50 meters deep to the bottom of the lake. The water is pure green and clean. The forests with beautiful trees surrounded the lakes. It is somewhere unforgettable and worth the visit.

La'ak Primary school, a 5-room-building with only 3 room occupied. Each 3 room are for the 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd in order. The age of the students in every grade mixed up. The 15 year-old student in the 1st grade is a simple thing. There are around 60 students in this school. The villager there are all Kreng nation. only some of them can understand our simple Khmer language. Their daily dish for the 3 meals is Kdev leave (a kinda simple tasteless small green leaves) with salt and rice, nothing more! What so miserable! Sometimes they lack water to drink as the land is so dry, only 1 well in a village which is so deep in the forest high up in the mountain that not many people reach.

Even the village school located in such isolated area in the province, but there still be the Cambodian flag raises high up in front of the school which is a sign to let everyone know that here is khmer land.

National ploughing Day

In Khmer tradition, national ploughing day is a yearly ceremony usually held at the beginning day of rainy season. The aims of this celebration is meant to call the start of ploughing season. Moreover, it is also meant to pray for the god to blow down enough rain for farmers to use for the rice and crop growth.

This year, the belief of the royal cows on food eating is a desperate one. There are 7 kinds of grains and fluid such as rice, corn, sesame, bean, water, grass and wine. If the two cows eat one food, it is believed that the production of that food is good according to the amount the cow has eaten. Unluckily, this year only 1 cow ate only 45% of corn, nothing more has been eating or drunk. :( It is believed that this is the start of the unfortunate season of the year! Everyone's face is shown up the look of sorrow, not the smile like every passed year, even the king's face.

There were around 1000 candidates took part but in the final stages, only best last 16 students selected to be the winners. I am one among them. Accident!

At 3:14 P.M of my watch this Wednesday, I have 2hours freetime from class cuz my teacher is busy today. So I left my class with my blue 50cc Super Cup and riding just 50meters from my south-highschool-gate while I saw 2 motorbikes sleeping (??) in the middle of the crossroad, Norodom Blv and Keo Chea street. It was a shock cuz i could see each vehicle controllers was fighting each other like we see in the movie! OMG! one side is a young guy (maybe highschool student, i suppose) and the opponent is a middle age man. They look hot and wild! I am really scared so I don't remain to see the situation, but leading up my way to the internet cafe to share this news with you all!

I don't really know the cause of solving problem by strength like this at all. I think we have mouths, we have laws, we have a cold and peaceful way to solve the problem, not just running along the street fighting each other like boxing or wrestling and leave the crashed motorbike lying messily in the middle of the way like this at all. This causes chaos, traffic jams in the community! Especially, don't they think that doing like this can make them lose the value of oneself?

One moral study session, I've been pointed out by my moral teacher. She's the deputy director of my high school. She's serious, never admired any student but always scold for being wrong. Surprisingly, this last wednesday, she talked about students with wrong uniform such as shoes, hair dress up, shirt, skirt or pants, etc. Then, she pointed out at me, and said: "In fact, the right shoesp-uniform for schoolgirl is Konno shoes (like in the picture shown below), like those!" And she pointed out at me. OMG! this is the first time she admires!

This pair of KONNO shoes has been occupied for nearly 3 years already. Now i am in grade 12, and look! They still looks as new as the newly-bought-0nes! See? I just shot it last few weeks! Also, my classmates, 12L2 of Preah Sisowath High school, the most outstanding class of all grade 12 in school, have all been praised cuz of our proper uniform and morality as well as quality and knowledge. So happyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

On Wednesday morning, 14th of Feburary, there is an opening ceremony on Blog Training organized by Open Forum of Cambodia, funded by EED. The Conference is very useful and interesting. There are quite a few participants from various institution For example, from Cambodian Press Association, The Cambodia Daily, Public and Private sectors and other local and int'l NGOs.

I find this conference is so informative and full of important ideas and things to reconsider about after hearing all people who share their views and also via discussion. The most interesting thing is that blog is regarded as a democatic ways of sharing news. It's dangerous and also beneficial depends on the way we run and own our blogs.

An embarrassing mornin'....

This wednesday mornin', i got up and prepare for mornin' class as usual. after breakfast, i took off to school while I arrived empty classroom! Nobody is in class!

What's wrong? Where is everybody? I knew there must be reason for this! I phoned y friend and ask if we have extra biology class or not today. He said "What? Everyone is in the meeting all right now! Where r u?" Suddenly, i began to panic! Oh My god! I forgot the meeting day to learn the exam ruler in the big hall! I was so forgetful now as time passes by, my memory gets older as well... I off the conversation immediately and run to motor park and took off back home to change my normal clothes to my highschool uniform. Luckily, my house is not so far from highschool, i spent only 8mins for de journey from school to home and back to school.

Consquently, i was late for the meeting. It's started since 7:45am and I arrived at 8:15! It was ashame of me! And how come? I am a student of 12L2, the special class of maths! I really lost face! I was scolded by the school director.... What such ashame of me!.... :(

It's quite late at night, i still remain quietly in my room to do some self-study as I have DNA lesson the next day for Biological subject session. There are some technical words which is a bit difficult to define or understand without checking them in dictionary. This is what i hate the most! i don't like using dictionary at all as i have a bad and lazy habit, whenever i meet the word i don't know, i just try to understand it by context and then skip it.

But yeah, everyday i never stay up this late, but i don't feel sleepy at all when i study. in contrast, i could get everything i learn and finish all quick questions related to Genetic Code too! ok, next time, i'll learn by using this method for other subjects! :D

In my opinion, I think hard work and luck go along together. Destiny is de guideline. But hard work is needed first, and then luck goes along after that and will catch up with hard work at a destination, the succeed point.

Until now, I just know that my trend of progress of my life and my study is a downward one, when I do math exercises and my way of thinking.

Firstly, let me talk about the progress of my education at school. For example, I cannot do a medium level algebra sequence exercise of math at all when I just see it, I think I could do it, but when I hold a pen and about to solve it, I cannot find the solution which is very easy to do. Moreover, I couldn’t fulfill all my tasks on time and perfectly at all. There are always light mistakes and confusion. I can’t ever get 100% for my test at high school at all except English subject. I was about to fail my literature composition test. My math test was also the same. For physic, chemistry and the rest are not bad, just between 75% to 98%. In addition, I find myself so joyful and skillful at moral and social studies. I rarely do self-study and research at home, I seldom use my study software after school; besides, I do something else when I am in front of my pc screen. Ok, it is New Year now; also, it’s gonna be time my semester 1 exam take place as well. I think it’s not too late, I still can recover my learning trend, right? Nothing is too late if I know my faults of laziness and carelessness and I change.

Next, let’s move on to my general trend aside from study. I began to find my self-development remained constant, no no! Not leveled out, but decrease! Haha… The more I face, the older I am, the worst me! OMG! Ok whatever… I commit, not promise myself, to do a serious upgrade as to get back to my ex-me after many feelings brought me troubles than peace! Lolz… Fight, me! It’s time to upgrade now, Dee! I cannot stay in this situation at all. A Khmer girl in the blogosphere, need to be good or I’ll be an unqualified citizen without success cuz no hard work. I don’t wait for luck at all! J

2006 has gone, 2007 has come!

As I’ve jumped up to blog reading, I’ve found many posts about New Year and the previous year by each blog owners. Now I have an idea that I should share you all about my progress in 2006 and my commitment for 2007 like other bloggers too!

I have a day off today as it is 7th January, a successful day from Pol Pot regime. I always commit to do homework from school during holidays, but whenever I am on holidays, I never do my school works. I love reading other books instead of reading grade 12 books, especially, I hate reading literature stories which are mandatory for me to read as to use it in Khmer composition during exams. I dunno why too! In contrast, I never lazy to read other general knowledge book… Oopps! Seems like out of topic I have to write now! Ok go back to what I’ve achieved in 2006.

Since 2006, initially, I found myself more mature as I don’t like to joke a lot about useless stuffs as I used to be. I’ve become more serious in talking and doing things. If I know I really can’t do something, I don’t promise or say. One more thing, I think I am more useful for the society, and becoming a better citizen. In addition, I’ve discovered myself that I’ve learnt more by seeing the visions around me and analyze each of them. I learn from what I’ve seen. Also, I’ve read many good books full of educational ideas of life. There are such as morals, life advices, way to behave rightly, etc. Especially, I have made many more good and helpful friends via blog and social network, and their existence cheers my life up. I am a happier girl cuz I find my life is not that isolated. I am not alone walking along the road of life toward my goal, there are flowers along the sides of the road to lighten up my way and bring me encouragement, hopes and strength to me to continue my life adventure. Next, talking about education, I knew my general knowledge improves a lot, but my math is not developing at all as I have some problem with my head and brain. Poor me on this field. After that, let me talk about housework. The previous year I’ve improved a lot in cooking. I can cook well (Only some of my favorite food). Plus, I’ve experienced a house-controller life when I am home alone and I have to do every chore. Now let’s move on to my daily life. I found my day is a busy, but joyful one. I love my life. I like to keep myself busy cuz no work is useless. After I finish one task, I am so pleased cuz I’ve fulfilled an obligation of the day and thank it. Well, 2006 was a good year full of experiences and lessons for me. Thanks so much 2006! ( ^ o ^ )

Is this life???

“I’ve found the real world around me is all fake! The life of laugh and smile is just fake! But the dream life is real! It’s always like what I think! If I imagine it is what, it does always be!”

As experienced, I found my over 16 year’s time I’ve been through is a waste! I knew nothing! And I just know now that I knew nothing at all besides my fake smiles, and the words from books I’ve read.

I was so stupid, even I’ve been through this fake life experience already. Those are all my faults cuz of too quick to believe others around me! But now I know life is a game which one cheats another and keep continue. Or is this just my life? Or just the others never think of this? My lessons teach me to be a metal-hearted girl now. They take away my confident in believing people.

In addition, I think I was wrong… I’ve done many things wrong! I have no skills of living a life in this beautiful world happily. I was on the way toward my goal to be a successful person but obstacles always keep me stuck in de middle of the road. I can’t fight as I’ve lost faith in myself. I always lose things I love best cuz I am so stupid. My hopes never stay with me long at all. Every thing comes and goes like thunder. Nothing is long and forever. Nothing is stable. Time is not kind to me at all. Time takes my favorite stuffs and people away and gone from me…

Living a life just to lie oneself, just to fulfill the obligations of being a mankind, just a role play in a life game, live with fake smiles, fake laughter, fake cry, and fake thoughts. I don’t fancy a life like this! I don’t want the environment around me to cheat me! Why don’t we live a real life in the real world? It’s so hurt living in a real world but fake life! I’d tried to move myself from the imaginary world cuz afraid it will hurt me, but when I come to the real world, I find it’s even more painful! Why? The people in dream world are all honest. In contrast, the ones in real world, I can’t measure! They are not all honest; their words are different from their hearts! Not loyal at all! Like a song, “This I Promise You”, I found it’s right! Here it is: “The visions around you, bring tears to your eyes, and all that surrounds you, are secrets and lies”. I’ve received some vows, but with these vows, I hurt a lot! Now I have no more space! I don’t have the bottle to keep my sorrow and pains from those vows at all! The owner of the vows is just liar! No more!

Ah… Today is New Year, 2007! May everyone move on the new days with new hope. May this year is another better year for you all. I wanna wish you all wealth, health, success and happiness. May the angels and stars of New Year take care of you.

For me, guess what? I had a dull year-end-holiday! I was so sick because of typhoid! I can eat nothing besides porridge, dried fish, orange and coconut juice. In addition, I couldn’t go to join any party, nor could I walk and do hard work or carry heavy things. I’ve never had such bad days like this at all since I came to this world!

By the way, I found it is a good experience for me of learning to be patient in life. I learnt how to destroy my boring days even I can only sleep in bed with ice in a plastic package on my belly as to cool up my inner organ and keep my temperature not to rise up. Aside from this, I also have time to read books, and got lots of good proverb and ideas to consider as to develop a better new-me for new year!!!

Welcome back again you guys here! Sorry for my absent and left my blog dead without updating it. Actually, I have been crushed by cold weather.

As we all know, currently the temperature drops to the low level as affected by the effect of the storm from border country. I am not really sure. I was sick, seriously strucked, cuz I am allergic to coldness. My feet and hands went cold, almost freeze. I don’t dare to have a shower at all. Further, on Saturday evening, I knew clearly that I am in bad condition. My terrible headache rose up to my head again. Cold wind froze my សរសៃ! ងាកឆ្វេងក៏មិនបាន ងាកស្ដាំក៏មិនបាន! ឧ្យតែងាកដឹងតែឈឺ ចាប់ពីក្បាល ឡើងដល់ថ្ងាស ដូចគេយកញញួរមកដំពីលើ ប៉ូងៗអញ្ចឹង! So I took a capsule of TYLENOL and LYSOPEIN (It’s for sore throat). I took out the thermometer to measure my temperature, and guess what? My body temperature is 39.4 degree Celsius! My inner self was that hot that was why I felt very cold and shivered like a warm less bird in the rain. I didn’t have strength to do any thing. Also, I couldn’t barely even clench my fist tightly too! Then my mom កោសខ្យល់ for me. ឈឺខ្លួនណាស់ យំផង ហៀរទឹកភ្នែកទឹកសំបោរផង ។ In this way, mom decided to come to share a room with me as to take care of me within night time. And you know what! Around 1AM my whole self went hotter and shivered wildly as it’s about time the affection of TYLENOL (5hours after taking that pill). Then I had another capsule of TYLENOL. I was still not yet well. I was shivering about 10 minutes, even mum tried to hug me to keep me calm. (មិនដែលជួបទេពីមុន! អាហ្នឹងហើយគេហៅថាគ្រុនញាក់គ្រុនញ័រ )

I am not yet recovered now, but I just don’t wanna be free cuz the more we rest, the lazier we are! It’s true! So just do action. I hope I’ll be fine soon cuz from yesterday until now, I missed a Christmas party (Khmer girl’s party) and my classmate’s birthday party today. Poor me! Also tonight, I’ll try to take pill and eat a lot as to rebuild my strength to celebrate Christmas eve with my good friend!

Finally, I hope all my blog readers have a lovely and an unforgettable Christmas na! Cheers! Yeah!

PIT-workshop held at Siem Reap

On 9th Saturday, December, 2006, Personal Information Technology workshop has been held at BBU, Siem Reap branch, 2 different sessions, one in the morning and another one was in the evening.

In each session, there were around 200 audiences from varied faculties, such as IT, English, Management,… It was another successful workshop progressed by City Link and Cambodia Bloggers cooperate with Build Bright University. We’re very happy to see that many students there now know about blog and are interested in the workshop. Sooner or later, we hopefully waiting to see more and more blog by Cambodians.

Along with this, PIT-Workshop has also been held at 10 Makara High school at Siem Reap Province as well. Let me express “A WOW!” cuz that high school is much more modern than the ones in Phnom Penh. The lab there is very great, one room occupied with about 26 laptops accessed to internet for student, another one there is about 40 new and run-well desktops.

The Latest workshop at UTM

The Latest workshop has been held at University of Techology and Management on Saturday 30th of September.

I dare say that this one was the best one we've ever done. The process went smoothly even there was a rain fall for some mintues before the workshop begins. In addition, we're honored because there were the present of many Cambodian bloggers. For example, Our first Khmer blogger, Tharum, John (known as Jinja), and some more...

After the workshop in the hall room, we go down to the UTM Computer Lab to do the practice. It can be seen that all the students there pay great attention to the workshop lessons. A big percentage of the students succeeded in creating their own blog in wordpress.com. This time, there had been the help because we all co operate well in the lab. Lux, Chantra, Virak, Kalyan (big), Kalyan (small) aka DeeDee, Tharum, Jinja, Chantra's friend, who all helped in the lab. Not only this reasons that the workshop went as expected, it is also because of all the attentive participants.

We all had done a welldone job this time. Seem like the next workshop is coming soon, maybe it will take place at BBU (Build Bright University) on Friday this week, or might be on Monday the following week.
