"Phrase" Collecting

.

-You know the meaning of one thing when you lost it

-NOthing human cannot oversome but nature

-Don't tell the world what you can do,
Don't tell the world what you cannot do,
Show it any way,
Reveal your personal ability that everyone admires.

-Be happy, life isn't boring! It's joyful! Love the way you are, right?

-Flying as a bird,
Dying to bring Liberty,
Yes, the world at Peace!

-Nothing is immortal

-There's a boxer standing in front of the mirror. He's trying to fight the one in the mirror! If he can beat that one, he wins everything!

-No party that never end.

-Life is full of meeting and parting.

-Try to work everything out base on your own best & that will be beneficial.

-Life goes up&down, happy&sad, smile&cry, die&alive. That's called "LIFE", but why we gotta live in sadness? Cuz life is too short, so we'd better live with happiness!

-It doesnt matter how slowly you go as long as you did not stop!

-Life of laugh and cry is all fake!

-"It's weak and silly to say you cannot bear waht is neccessary for you to bear" (Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte)

-" No doubt, but wouldn't you be happier if you tried to forget the severity? Life appears to me to be too short to be spent in remembering the past injustices" (Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte)

PS: I still have some doubts with this phrase: "Living in happy sadness is better than living in sad happiness" . Is it true?? Can you all help analyse which one should be better! I think I couldn't find out yet! Let's discuss together ok?

Hi Dee,
>>Be happy, life isn't boring! It's joyful! Love the way you are, right?

Very nice! Be satisfied with what we have is the best way lead to happiness.

>>"Living in happy sadness is better than living in sad happiness"

That's true to me. I prefer living in happy sadness to living in sad happiness. It depends on each individual to define what is happy sadness and what is sad happiness.
Let's have an example. You may be alittle bit sad for not being able to join your classmate in any journey, but you are happy to be sad, aren't you? Why you are happy? because you didn't make your parent worried about you. In contrary, if you go, you may be happy with your friend, but that happiness is a sad one because you make your parents sad.
You are such a nice kid, Dee!
I found that the phrase hides very huge meaning. Living in happy sad means living by your own way, living without harming people even if there are some sadness. But living in sad happiness means living in happiness with the others' misery. Killing people for one's own happiness is living in sad happiness.
These are all my ideas, and I am not sure too if it is enough for the meaning of the terrific phrase.
Thanks for the nice phrases,Dee!

Oh, astonishing!!!

It's great, DeeDee,

Happy sadness and sad happiness?

How come that sadness is happy, and happiness is sad? Don't think that exists in this world. But for HP explanation, I do agree with him/her.

For my own ideas Happiness is never sad. And Sadness is never happy. But if you want to be happy, just don't think so much, and be reasonable and open-minded, forgive and forget.

Cheer,

P!

>>Nothing is immortal
I think this one is right. Things just keep on changing. Noone know what tomorrow will bring.so live a happy and meaningfull life today.

>>>There's a boxer standing in front of the mirror. He's trying to fight the one in the mirror! If he can beat that one, he wins everything!
there is another phrase with the same meaning: He who can win himself will become God.

at last let me share you a new phrase: Life is full of coincidences... Even two parallel lines may meet someday

My share idea:
- Living in happy sadness can be compared with a life of a poor family. They can survive somehow. They enjoy getting together with all familly member. Parents can stay with their children. No violence in the family. They are satisfy with all they have. They have their basic need. They struggle and help each other for a living. Even they live in a small hut, do hard work every day, but they're still happy with what they are having.
- Sad happyness: Can compared with a rich family. They have a very big house. They have every thing. It seems they are living in a happy life. But their life is happy full of sad, full of worry... Some of their children go s.whr, study abroad, or do s.th bad-gansters... The parents are only two people in the very big house, with some waiters. Every day they can't sleep well in their luxury room with air conditioner because they are afraid of security: robber, kidnapping...

Therefore, I prefer to a living in happy sadness with some basic need. (:k)Not like living abroad, for example, we can't find whatever we want as living in Cambodai, even you have enough to buy food or other stuffs. Too expensive. Of cource, if we think like we have not thing to eat. Living abroad is good change to earn money but not good to live. People have to work hard for money. But they dare not to spend. As I know they save for their relatives and when they visit Cambodia, they want to eat this, eat that, they enjoy so much in Cambodia. That's Y some people can't live abroad and decide to come back, living with their family members with a happy sadness. They can't earn much money, but they enjoy the way they used to live. That's all about life. Oh! I forgot the most important thing. In Eurrope, USA or ..., old people are pity. They have to live on their own. Living alone, Living on pension. No relatives take care them. So the life style in Cambodia and abroad, what would you prefer? You are old with pension or with your children, grand-son/daughter???

Happy sadness is definitely what I would prefer because I don’t think I would be able to live with sad happiness because if it is sad where does the happiness come in? Parting and such are what the latter are made of. A marriage, a trip abroad for further studies, these are matters which might tear you apart but at the end of the day you are happy too isn’t it. But on the whole this page seems quite intriguing, food for thought in short!
